Dr. Stuart Goldberg received his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University. He completed his internal medical residency and hematology-oncology fellowships at George Washington University Medical Center, and served as a bone marrow transplant fellow at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Goldberg is a member of the Division of Leukemia at the John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center and Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He also is the Chief Scientific Officer at COTA, Inc., a medical data and analytics company.

Dr. Goldberg currently serves on the Development Board of the MDS Foundation and established an MDS Center of Excellence program at his hospital. His research efforts earned him the 2015 David King Clinical Scientist Award from the Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC). His clinical and research interests are in the myelodysplastic syndromes, with particular emphasis on strategies to reduce transfusion related iron overload.
