Dr. Christopher Flowers received his medical degree from Stanford University, California. He was an internal medicine resident and fellow at the University of Washington, and a medical oncology fellow at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle. He is currently an associate professor of hematology and oncology, and director of the Lymphoma Program at the Winship Cancer Institute, Emory University School of Medicine, as well as medical director of the Oncology Data Center.

Dr. Flowers is on the National Scientific Advisory Board of the Lymphoma Research Foundation and chairs the Clinical Practice Guideline: Outpatient Management of Febrile Neutropenia for the American Society of Clinical Oncology. His research is focused in medical informatics, outcomes research, and the hematological cancers.
